Dayton-area officials look to rehabilitate local rail-trail

Some sections of the corridor of the former Dayton, Lebanon & Cincinnati Railroad are being used as part of the local bike trail network; others form a storm drainage system, and still other parts are under-utilized. Local officials have securing funding to repair a quarter-mile section of the current bike path, but seek funds to rehabilitate more of the corridor for use for biking and hiking.
