Took a quick after-work spin on the @summitmetroparks Bike & Hike Trail last night. First test ride with the @teravail Sparwood 27.5x2.1 tires that I got from @all_around_cyclery for my @salsacycles #SalsaJourneyer . The #Route8Gravel #FallsGravel is the driest I have seen it all year. #BikeCommuting #RitcheyAscent I’ve been over-doing the recovery from a #bikepacking trip two-and-a-half weeks ago, with only two #bicycle rides since then. Until last night, when I took advantage of the crisp weather to ride, of course, the #CVNP Adventure Loop. Thrilled to see @nerd4cities in person tonight in #Cleveland. The realignment of the road crossing of the @summitmetroparks Bike & Hike Trail at Seasons Rd is done! Beautiful sunny fall day, perfect for a #bicycle ride with a stop on the #BridgeToNowhere in #Twinsburg and @handelsicecream in #NorthfieldOhio. I didn’t feel like being out until dark tonight, so I rode an abbreviated version of the @clevemetroparks #BedfordSingletrack on the @salsacycles #SalsaTimberjack. Skipped Karl’s Corner, Touchstone, and Mars Quarry for a total of eight #MountainBiking miles. I hit up the #CVNP Adventure Loop again, this time on my @bikefriday #AllPacka to test some recent maintenance. I detoured through the @summitmetroparks Deep Lock Quarry then Riverview Rd to get around the closed section of #TowpathTrail. My plan was to get in a quick 20 miles after work on the #SalsaJourneyer before the rain returned. I would have made it but I had to turn back home sooner because of a slow leak in the front tire. 🥺🚴🏼‍♂️
